Hello Everybody!


I have been very quiet on DA, but it has been a hectic month or two. The local economy is struggling, and in the end so are we. Argggg brutal honesty.. But anyway, I recently had my laptop "accepted into the wealth distribution program" (that means it was stolen). I won it last year in a design competition, and it was such a beauty, 17 inch screen beast! But allas, was bothers me the most is the designs and artwork that I had on the hard-drive, not to mention all the photos of jewellery and stuff. No, it wasn't part of my shop's insurance. So it is goodbye to that one.

So, now I cant go online at home anymore, I only pop in every now and again at work. I cant sit on DA for hours when I should be working. I am sure you understand, even though it is very tempting.

To all my wonderfull friends here and those that I watch and those that watch me, I am sorry for not commenting, faving, and all and all! I will get to it one day, I promise! And thanks so much to all who have faved my pieces!

HI REINETTE THIS IS FOR NAMIBIA:nite i`m calling out for help for the HIMBAS. A well needs to be dug in one month`s time,that would help all of the Himbas.Old one has dried up, filled by sand Money is missing 5000 Euros=$7800 U.S. Here is link to donate([link]), but i`m putting forth this idea of a group of artist banding up for an auction, each one donating one or more of there creation for sale and giving the funds generated to help this project DOES THIS MEAN ANYTHING TO YOU...HUMMMMM.Please let me know fast since deadline is JULY..Afterwards it will be even more costly...It came to me IN A DREAM..

You make some very beautiful jewelry.

I took the full Jewelry/Metalsmithing course sequence at college, so I understand full well the technical challenges involved in making these pieces, and it only enhances my appreciation of the quality work that you produce.

Keep it up, I can't wait to see more.

No, my career path took me into computers and then web design after college so I never got into the metal work professionally, and I don't have the time anymore to do it as a hobby. But the skills were useful in doing product R&D work for a while, and are still nice to have when appreciating the good work of others.
